Got here at 11a on a Sunday and the restaurants were just opening. I thought Itwas a very nice spaced out dining location with about 4-5 restaurants and a Roast coffee house. The place was very clean and all the people we came across that were working were all very polite. Would like to try this place maybe on a Fri or Sat early dinner time. They also had a nice size bar inside and I didn't get anything there.
The Switch has been such a brilliant addition to Blackstone. We have been impressed and very pleased with each visit so far. A great date night spot, dinner with a few friends, or a space to grab a drink and a treat and unwind. The amount of changes and transitions over the course of their 2 ish? Year run has been more than I was expecting, but it makes for a fun varied mix each visit. We've yet to try Dirty Bird, and that's next on our list! El Arepon is our favorite of the ones we've tried throughout the past couple of years. Specifically, their carne mechada patacons and their Churros. Highly recommend!
The Switch is a super cool concept... Several small kitchens that entrepreneurs can rent out and try running a new business with minimal risk. I enjoyed Little Ve'a torta and spicy tots. AMAZING flavors and very generous portions! It is a vegan restaurant but non-vegans would love it as well. The Switch would be a great place to go to with a group of people. Everyone will find something to satisfy their pallet.
I LOVE the switch! This was my first time going to get drinks- I had no idea what a great happy hour they have! I got a simple Moscow mule and a blood Mary (ask for it spicy- they have homemade hot sauce). It's pretty hard to mess up a Moscow mule so no complaints there. The Bloody Mary was what surprised me! I asked for mine spicy and it was great. Super flavorful and slightly spicy. I would 100% recommend it even if you don't like your bloody's spicy you can get it salty or plain. The bartenders are super friendly and will help you with whenever you need a drink or want to try something new!
Boom, so I got the Po Boy catfish sandwich and it was great. Nice and crispyyyy, but not too crispy. The sauce they put on it is fire too. You get A LOT of food, the sub is about a foot long, AND you get fries. 10/10 recommend.
